My story

I've always been curious about how things come together. Not just the finished product, but the thinking, planning, and engineering behind it. As I learned more about the industries that shape everyday life, I found myself drawn to the scale of the problems engineers get to solve. Designing an aircraft, improving an energy facility, or contributing to major infrastructure projects means creating systems that people rely on every day.

That perspective is what led me to mechanical engineering. University gave me the technical foundation, while internships in aerospace and energy showed me how engineering works outside the classroom. Seeing experienced engineers solve practical problems, balance competing constraints, and make decisions that affect real operations confirmed that this is the kind of work I want to be part of.

    University of Victoria

    Specialization in Thermo-Fluids and Aerodynamics, with a completed minor in business. Enrolled in the co-op program, graduated with a 3.5/4.0 GPA.

  2. May 2025 – Aug 2025

    Intern EH&S Engineer

    Ovintiv

    Recalculated Emergency Planning Zones for sour gas pipelines using AERH2S software and built a standardized recalculation workflow.

  3. Sep 2023 – Dec 2023

    Methods Engineer Co-op Student

    De Havilland Aircraft of Canada

    Digitized aircraft parts in CAD within the methods engineering group, working to strict aerospace quality requirements.

  4. Apr 2022 – Aug 2022, Apr 2023 – Aug 2023

    Mechanical Engineering Intern

    Stantec Consulting Ltd.

    Supported the buildings mechanical group across two work terms, designing ventilation, plumbing, and piping systems alongside architects and engineers.
